These are the terms you agree to when you use Destined. We have tried to write them in plain language rather than legal fog, because you should actually be able to read them.
You must be 18 or older to calculate a chart, purchase a reading, or become a member. By using Destined you confirm that you are. Accounts found to belong to minors are deleted.
Destined is early software. Features will change, pages will move, and things will occasionally break. We may add, alter or remove parts of the service as it develops. We will not break something intentionally without good reason, but you should not treat a beta service as permanent infrastructure.
The first 200 members join as founding members, and matching stays free for them for as long as the account exists. This is a genuine commitment, not a trial period that quietly converts to a charge. If we ever introduce paid membership tiers, founding members keep the matching features they joined with at no cost.
The natal chart calculator itself is free for everyone, founding member or not.
Two things on Destined are paid, and both are one-off purchases rather than subscriptions:
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Readings are generated individually for you the moment you purchase, so we cannot restock them. If your reading fails to arrive, arrives incomplete, or was charged twice, email us and we will refund you in full. If you simply did not enjoy the reading, tell us anyway — we would rather hear it and make it right than keep money from someone who feels cheated.
Destined provides astrological interpretation for insight, reflection and entertainment. It is not professional advice. Nothing on this site is medical, psychological, legal or financial guidance, and it should not be used in place of a qualified professional. Do not make a decision that affects your health, your safety or your finances on the basis of a chart reading.
We calculate charts accurately using Swiss Ephemeris, the same engine used by Astro.com. What we cannot promise is an outcome: a high compatibility score is an astrological observation, not a prediction that a relationship will succeed.
Destined introduces people; it does not vet them. We do not run background checks on members. If you choose to meet someone, take the same precautions you would with anyone you met online: meet publicly the first time, tell someone where you are going, and trust your instincts over a compatibility score.
We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules, and we will do so without hesitation where someone's safety is involved.
Your birth details and your chart remain yours. You grant us permission to use them for the purpose of running Destined — calculating your chart, generating your readings, and matching you with other members. We claim no ownership over your personal information. How we handle it is set out in our Privacy Policy.
You can ask us to delete your account at any time and we will remove your record, your chart and your match history. We may close an account that violates these terms. If we ever shut Destined down, we will give members notice and an opportunity to retrieve their readings first.
Destined is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, from interactions with other members, or from decisions you make after reading a chart. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We will update this page if the terms change, and change the date at the top. Significant changes are emailed to members rather than left for you to discover.
